Sarah Connor Chronicles: Born to Run

Earlier this season, I handed the recap reins over at TooMuchFreeTime for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to my friend Greater Czarina.  She’s done a great job, and now that we’ve hit the season — and what will most likely be the series — finale (although the official word hasn’t come down yet), it’s time for us all to exhaustively discuss what I thought was a pretty great episode.

So head on over to TMFT, and read Greater Czarina’s recap! Then either here or there, let’s talk about what you thought of it.  Was it a good season finale?  If it’s the series finale, did it work for you?  Click through to see what I thought.

Sarah Connor – Desert Cantos

Too many shows to recap these days (what with having a full-time job and all), so I’m scrapping Sarah Connor Chronicles right now in favor of Dollhouse. But the Greater Czarina has done a bang up recap over on, so go check it out.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode, especially after the hospital-based soap opera that was last week’s episode.  Plenty of mystery and intrigue this time around, as the crew deals with the aftermath of Weaver’s killing spree at the warehouse.

Cameron and Echo: Hotter Than Hades

First off, let me just say that by now, I’m sick to hell of just about every entertainment media outlet harping on the “fact” that FOX is “killing” Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dollhouse by “burying” them on Friday night. We get it already! Personally, I’m not even convinced it’s true. The X-Files did just fine on Fridays, and that was in a time before DVRs. And even if it is true, the media’s need to repeat this over and over has begun to sound more like wishing and less like observation.

With that out of the way, check out this cool new Grindhouse-style commercial FOX has released to advertise its “doomed” new Friday night “death slot” …
