For those who don’t watch Smallville (which is most of you), this will mean nothing. But according to TV Guide and this week’s preview, when the show returns from its midseason break on January 15th, we’ll see the first appearance of members of none other than …
I’m actually a fan of the show, and enjoy it most of all when they give us cameos of other heroes from the DC comics universe. So far, we’ve seen Aquaman, Flash, Green Arrow, Mockingbird, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, and … probably somebody else I’m forgetting. And now they’re adding to that list Cosmic Boy, Lightning Boy Lad, and Saturn Girl, founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes, who will travel back in time from the 31st Century, presumably to help Clark out with his Doomsday problem. Even better news for DC fans out there, the episode will be written by Geoff Johns.
What? No Infectious Lass?!?
Heh. Is there really an Infectious Lass? It’s been a long while since I read a Legion comic book, but I do remember Bouncing Boy, Triplicate Girl, Brainiac-5, and Mon El.
I actually don’t know much about the Legion myself but there was an Infectious Lass in the Tales of the Unexpected Doctor 13 special who I grew quite fond of. She was part of the Legion but better know from the Legion of Substitute Heroes.
